Nak 300 Shotguns v. Healy Authorized AUD: Dead Heat.
Upon an initial, quick comparison, I find both AUDs well recorded with excellent dynamics. In fact, I thought they might be the same source at first. But after hearing a slight level fluctuation in Minglewood in the Healy AUD, and none in the Nak 300, I guess they aren't. I'm really impressed with this source.
Nice job again Mr. Mow et al. Five stars for sound. Though this is a very good show, as per my Healy review, I think the song selection for the end of the show is less than the hoped for five star blowout. 4 1/2 Stars for this one.

The first set is fine. Scarlet, TLMD and The Wheel are excellent. Count me in for '81 shows, but no further.
The audio is a testament to a fine recording job.

To Lay Me Down
Great recording, but missing To Lay Me Down in set 2.

Great show from an underappreciated year
A very good show, indeed, for 1981. Jerry was on top of all his solos, despite that I believe he was at the height of his smoking heroin days here. A lot of energy in this show. Those Yale kids must've loved it. Great stuff.

Doug Mow taped this one, not Jeff Silberman and gets all the credit.
